Home to preschool through 5th grade Wauhatchie students, Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center sits at the foot of Lookout Mountain. This beautiful 317 acre property is made up of ponds, creeks, forest, meadows, and 15 miles of hiking trails, along with a magical boardwalk, a treehouse, & a native animal exhibit featuring Sandhill Cranes, Red Wolves, Red-Tailed Hawks, and more!


 
 

Wauhatchie Preschool, Jr. Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students learn every day at Chattanooga’s oldest wildlife sanctuary! Audubon Acres is a 130-acre hidden gem located in East Brainerd and managed by the Chattanooga Audubon Society. Noted for its natural and historical significance, the sanctuary includes hiking trails, a restored Cherokee cabin, a swinging bridge, and frontage on South Chickamauga Creek.

Nestled on the south bank of the North Chickamauga Creek Watershed, our Soddy-Daisy campus at Ivy Academy creates endless opportunities for learning for students enrolled in forest preschool. With access to the creek, miles of trails, and opportunities to engage with Ivy students, facilities, and farm animals, learners are fully immersed in and connected to nature!
